A girl who owns a car tells how she managed to halve her utility bill after buying a 2025 Toyota Camry. Isn’t that incredible?
In a video that’s already been watched over 6.2 million times, influencer Queen Tay (@queentayshops) tells the story of how she swapped her 2014 Nissan Altima for a brand new Toyota Camry 2025. What an amazing change! (Via)
“My Camry ran out of gas. I drove it 427 miles. It’s empty,” while sitting in his car at a gas station. “Let’s see how much it costs compared to my old car.”
Apparently, Tay says that a full tank of gas in the 2014 Nissan Altima costs about 55 pounds, while gas costs $2.69 at the service station he uses in Jackson, Mississippi. So he says, “I would have driven about 500 miles, but I drove about 425 miles,” and “It took me 435 miles to fill up.”
Hey, do you know how much it costs to fill up a new Toyota Camry?
“Wow, it can’t be that much,” Tay says, pointing to the gas pump display. It turns out that the fill-up for the Toyota Camry 2025 costs $28.26, which is almost half the cost of filling up his old Nissan Altima!
To confirm that the tank is full, Tay starts the car and points to the dashboard, which shows that the tank is full.
‘Wow, it literally cost me over 50 bucks to drive my Altima that many miles,’ he exclaims. ‘Maybe the $40,000 investment was worth it.
Drivers always talk about petrol prices.
In the comments, viewers share their thoughts on Tay’s fuel bill! “It’s because it’s part hybrid. So it gets the best miles per gallon and pays less for gas. One viewer said, “I’ve been filling my tank since 2019, and it’s costing me 45.”
“This lets me fill a quarter of the tank. It also uses premium gas,” adds another.
‘It’s more flexible than any Benz or BMW,’ adds a third.
But let’s not forget that there are people who look at the price of gasoline in Jackson, Mississippi, and compare it to their state and other countries.
“They’re all crying in California, $4.59 a gallon,” says one.
“OK, those gas prices are crazy… A full tank of gas would cost $80-100 in Finland. I wish gas was that cheap,” says another.
“Your gas is 2.69 a gallon… I’ll run all the way to Mississippi,” says someone with a sense of humour.
In another video, Mr. Tay explains that the low price of gasoline in his region is due to the proximity of refineries and low taxes. (Via)
