Just a few days earlier, Ye had boasted about loving Hitler.

Several Jewish celebrities appeared in a video to give Kanye West the finger after the rapper posted a series of anti-Semitic comments online and began selling swastika T-shirts.What a load of rubbish.Ye’s most offensive posts included comments such as “I love Hitler” and “I’m a Nazi”.

Then on Tuesday, Shopify shut down the Yeezy.com store, where the swastika T-shirts were sold, for breaking its terms of use.

A bunch of celebrities like Scarlett Johansson, Jerry Seinfeld, Adam Sandler, Steven Spielberg and more appeared in the video attacking Yeezy after his statements, wearing shirts with Kanye’s name under a Star of David printed inside a middle finger.

At the end of the video, Sandler dedicated the middle finger to Ye before the video fades out and text appears encouraging viewers to join the fight against anti-Semitism.

People were pretty furious about Ye’s comments, but the video was actually created by AI, so the celebrities didn’t unite in reaction.

Johansson told People that she’s concerned about the misuse of AI after the video went viral, saying, “I am a Jewish woman who does not tolerate anti-Semitism or hate speech of any kind.”She also said that hate speech is a very big problem and that the use of AI is much worse than one person taking responsibility. She’s calling on the government to create laws to control the use of artificial intelligence, saying that this is something that affects everyone and that we need to be aware of.

Many people who saw the video online said it was made with the help of artificial intelligence, but not everyone did.One publication received a note from the community saying that “Steven Spielberg has an extra finger for a split second” and that “Mark Zuckerberg’s AI is using an old image: Mark now has curly hair”. But not everyone who saw it realised it was a fake. Isn’t that crazy? After Kanye was allowed to lash out against Jews, it was discovered that there’s a video of legendary Jewish celebrities telling him what to do. Unbelievable! That just made my day. (Via)

‘It’s amazing, I’m so proud, how can we get our hands on this shirt? (Via)

Even if the video is fake, that doesn’t mean all the celebrities there don’t agree with its message.

Actor David Schwimmer already posted on Instagram on Saturday asking Elon Musk to ban Ye’s X account.

“We can’t stop a deranged bigot from spewing ignorant and hateful bile…. But we can stop Ye from giving you a megaphone, Mr. Musk,” David Schwimmer wrote.

“Kanye West has 32.7 million followers on X, which is twice the Jewish population! And his unhealthy hate speech leads to real violence against Jews.”

Others who appear in the video, including Sacha Baron Cohen, Isla Fisher and Gal Gadot, have also denounced Ye’s anti-Semitism.
